UPDATE

Firstly, thank you to everyone who ordered during our Retirement Sale.  We had way more orders than I ever expected, almost 4 months' worth, and we've been working hard to get them all out to you with the majority complete and shipped.

Unfortunately it's been a rough few weeks recently:  

- A few weeks ago, I lost my brother Mark.  Mark lived in a camper van which he used to park at our business unit at times.  That morning we came in to work as normal and gave him a knock, but there was no answer.  He'd had a massive heart attack overnight and passed away.  Obviously I've had to take some time off work to deal with this.

- And then overnight on the 2nd/3rd Dec, my unit was broken into and completely trashed.  The vandals have smashed up equipment and windows, ripped out radiators and pipes out of the walls, and stolen a whole pile of stuff.  And with the radiators off, the whole place is now flooded too.  Simon at Blotz has come to the rescue and helped me move most of my business kit to a more secure location, but this is going to impact my fulfilling of the remaining orders.

This means that my unit isn't really in a fit state to work in and isn't going to be repaired any time soon ( not a good landlord!).However I have carried out some makeshift repairs and am able to carry on and produce some stuff, whilst trying to clean up and dry everything, ceiling tiles and water are not a good combination.

So, as Pendraken were already scheduled to come and collect everything we're going to continue with that plan.  I'm then going to drive up to Pendraken's premises where I can help them setup their new resin casting room, and also fulfill the remaining orders from our sale. 

This will mean a slight delay for those customers but rest assured that your orders will be completed and sent out for you as soon as we possibly can.

Wow!  Thank you to everyone who has placed orders this weekend during our Retirement Sale, I'm completely overwhelmed by your support.  I'll get all of these ready and out to you asap

After 20 years of running Ironclad, it's time to call it a day and enjoy my retirement!  I'd like to thank everyone who has ever bought from us, whether online or at the shows, your support has helped me to build and expand Ironclad over the past two decades, as well as allowing me to work in a hobby/industry that I love.

And this isn't the end of the line for Ironclad!  We've reached an agreement with Leon at Pendraken to sell the business on and they'll be coming to collect everything from us at the beginning of December.  I've worked with Pendraken for over a decade now and I know that Ironclad will be in safe hands going forward.  I'll continue to make new models for them as well, so both Ironclad and Pendraken ranges will keep expanding in the future.  Pendraken should have the ranges back online for the start of the new year, so keep an eye on their website/social media for updates.
